Another beginning

“all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed” Declaration of Independence

IMG_8548Today is my last day at IBM. I am incredibly grateful for the experiences my tenure has provided me. The work was exciting and tedious; yes, that is why we call it work. I endured stifling processes, was inspired by talented professionals that worked tirelessly for nothing more than self-satisfaction and have discovered a new love for analytics. IBM expanded my world. I never dreamed I would ride a camel in Dubai, shop the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul with Kierstyn or see the flying fox in Sydney. My passport is filled with colorful stamps. But as Seth Godin writes in his book, “The Dip”, “sometimes you find the courage to quit – so you can be number one at something else.” Onto the next chapter.
