A few months ago I sat here allowing the world to determine my self-worth. Almost by chance I read an article by Martha Beck, ” Off the Beating Path” where she writes “When the road of life gets bumpy (and then bumpier, and bumpier still), she suggests a radical solution: Stop, throw it in reverse, and draw up a whole new road map”.
I really had to think for a few days but decided to try it. What can I control? What is out of my control? How can I reinvent myself again? I let go of what I thought would be my journey and looked in another direction.
The world is opening up, new opportunities are walking through the door and I have choices again. Just as spring is knocking at my door I am flinging her open.
