Sadie entered our lives six years ago. She was timid, shy, and obedient; that is until she met Sophia. Together they dug under the fence to roam the neighborhood resulting in 2 calls from the police department. They watched Reese birth two litters of kittens, and when the kittens were old enough to venture away from their mother, Sadie would spend hours herding them home. They ran up the neighbor’s lawn futilely chasing deer, loved riding in the jeep with the top down, tracked sand into the LBI house after each beach walk and shared the milk from my cereal every morning. Sophie’s spirit brought Sadie back to life after Judy passed away, and Sadie took full advantage of it. Yesterday morning I caught her attempting to squeeze through the neighbor’s fence trying to follow Sophia, and this morning she is gone. Her life was full, and her end was swift. She opened our hearts with unconditional love and will remain with us forever. God speed Sadie girl.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tK-0AONvGpE&feature=youtu.be
